This customizable template lets you start manually scoring leads based on both explicit contact data (information stated or shared through any direct interaction) and implicit contact data (information indirectly inferred or collected from behavior or interactions with your business online). It will automatically calculate a score ranging from lead all the way to sales qualified lead (SQL). The template can be customized to capture the contact data most important to your business and serve as the basis for implementing automated lead scoring in Hubspot.
In this model we define an SQL the same way HubSpot does, as a lead that has been researched and vetted by the marketing team (preferably in an automated way using lead scoring) and is passed off to the sales team to begin the sales process.
